Fried Goat Cheese Recipe: 3 Ingredient Recipes

Mutton the Sheep is here and he’s enjoying the summer! One of the best summertime treats is a nice salad, perhaps with some cheese on top. Goat cheese is delicious and tangy, and if you fry it up with a nice coating, it’s even better! This fried goat cheese recipe uses biscotti cookies as a breading and we tried making it in our new air fryer, which worked out very well!

Fried Goat Cheese

Ingredients

1 8-oz log goat cheese (we used Chevre)
1 egg
4 biscotti cookies

Crush the cookies until they form a fine powder. Whisk the egg until well beaten. Slice the cheese into rounds (about 1 inch thick) and dip in the egg and coat with the biscotti cookie breading. Let sit in freezer for about 10 minutes and then fry in an air fryer at 400F for 6-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. If you wish, you can fry the cheese on a stovetop in a pan of hot oil, or bake in a 400 degree oven until crispy and tender.
