Dried granulated garlic is the secret to really flavorful bread that takes just minutes to throw together and goes really well with any meal, especially spaghetti and meatballs.
1 loaf Italian bread
5 tablespoons butter or margarine
1-2 tablespoons granulated garlic
Split the bread down the middle lengthwise and place on a rack on a cookie sheet. Melt the butter and garlic in a small saucepan until the butter is fully melted and the garlic has re hydrated a bit. Brush the bread with the butter mixture, making sure to cover the surface with the bits of garlic. Bake in a 350F oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown on top. Slice and serve hot.
