Mutton and I are going to a Halloween party tonight, so we need to do two things: Figure out costumes to wear, and a delicious recipe to take with us to share! Since caramel apples are really popular this time of year, we decided to make a fruit dip that tastes just like caramel apples. With some caramel sauce and a couple of other easy ingredients, this three layer caramel dip is perfect for apples, cookies or other sweet things to dip into. It’s an easy recipe to take to any Halloween party or Fall occasion!
Caramel Apple Dip
Ingredients
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 lb. tub caramel dip (or jar caramel sauce)
1/2 bag toffee chips
Layer the ingredients over one another in a shallow dish, with the cream cheese on the bottom, the caramel on the next layer, and sprinkle with the toffee chips. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
